Ovsanna Balian

Therapist at Zen and Health

Ovsanna Balian is a passionate Associate Clinical Social Worker dedicated to supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds—especially those from communities where mental health is often stigmatized. As an Armenian woman, Ovsanna understands firsthand the cultural barriers that can make it difficult to seek emotional support. Her work is rooted in breaking the silence and shame around mental health by creating a safe, affirming space for healing and growth.

Ovsanna specializes in grief, trauma, anxiety, depression, and working with neurodivergent clients. She brings deep compassion and cultural sensitivity to every session, particularly when working with individuals from ethnic minority communities and those living with disabilities.

At Arielle’s Light, Ovsanna shares in our mission to reduce mental health stigma and ensure that no one feels like they have to suffer alone. Her approach helps clients feel seen, supported, and empowered to thrive emotionally—within themselves and their communities.
