Alma Perez is deeply aligned with Arielle’s Light’s mission—not just in wanting to help, but in having the will to actively support those in marginalized communities. Her passion lies in reaching individuals who may not be aware of the resources available to them or how to access care.

 

She currently practices at Zen and Health, a collaborative and inclusive group committed to providing culturally sensitive, compassionate mental health support. Through her work, Alma helps bridge the gap to healing for those who need it most.

Alma Perez is a compassionate and dedicated Associate Clinical Social Worker committed to holistic, client-centered care. As a proud Mexican American and bilingual therapist, Alma brings a culturally sensitive and trauma-informed lens to her work. She creates a safe, empathetic space for individuals to heal, grow, and feel seen.

With specialized training in Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Accelerated Resolution Therapy® (ART), Alma supports clients using a strengths-based approach—focusing on what’s already within them to foster lasting change.

Alma believes in meeting people exactly where they are, offering support that honors each client’s unique story, resilience, and healing journey.
