About Me

With over 25 years of experience in social work and community mental health, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside people at all stages of life — teens, parents, couples, and elders — helping them make sense of pain, reclaim joy, and move forward with courage.

I currently serve as a therapist in Addiction Medicine at Kaiser Permanente, supporting adolescents and adults facing challenges like trauma, anxiety, depression, addiction, and relationship issues. My approach is rooted in trauma-informed, relational care — which means I focus on building safety, trust, and collaboration. I believe healing happens in connection, and I work to co-create a space where you feel seen, heard, and empowered.

I hold a Master’s in Social Work from Cal State LA, along with a Pupil Personnel Services Credential (PPSC), which has allowed me to support students and families in school systems. My background also includes work in nonprofits and hospitals, where I’ve provided therapy, case management, and community outreach for underserved populations. I’ve been trained in evidence-based methods like CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, and Seeking Safety. I’m also experienced in parenting programs, domestic violence recovery, and youth development, including my time leading the Chicano Youth Leadership Program — work that remains close to my heart.

Whether you’re a teen navigating identity, a parent managing conflict, or an adult ready to break cycles, I aim to support you with empathy, tools, and clarity.

At the core of my work is this belief:

Healing is possible.
Your story can change.
And you don’t have to do it alone.

I’m honored to be part of Arielle’s Light’s mission — creating more access to healing and support for youth and young adults. I look forward to meeting you and being part of your journey.
